Cricketer L. Sivaramakrishnan Starts Political Inning With BJP

Ahead of the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, former cricketer Laxman Sivaramkrishnan joined the BJP on December 30. He joined the party in an event at Chennai in presence of BJP leaders including BJP national secretary CT Ravi and Tamil Nadu BJP president L Murugan. The cricketer-turned-commentator Sivaramakrishnan has also served as a spin-bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy and have been a part of the ICC’s Cricket Committee.
