Customs Seizes Over 200 iPhones Worth Rs 2.8 Cr At Bengaluru Airport

Customs officials on February 28 seized over 200 iPhones at Bangalore Airport from a couple arriving from Paris. Besides the iPhones worth Rs 2.8 crore, 37 debit and credit cards, and a vehicle supposed to transport the phones were also seized. The officials said that the illegal consignment was detected during the scanning of the accused couple's luggage. Reportedly, the couple had travelled to France from Mumbai earlier in February to purchase the phones.
