Cyber Experts Claim 'SHAREit' Not Safe, Suggest To Uninstall It

Cybersecurity company Trend Micro has found a major security threat in the popular file-sharing app SHAREit and has recommended to uninstall it. The company highlighted that the application allows hackers to inject malicious codes into other apps and enables them to access users' information. Moreover, termed as "ridiculously unsafe" for its users, SHAREit can also install third-party app deceitfully. Banned by the government, the app reportedly continues to be installed in India through sideloaded platforms.
