Dawood Ibrahim's Name Hits Terrorists Living in Pakistan List; Denies Claim Later
Pakistan, on August 22, denied Dawood Ibrahim's presence in Karachi, though a list contained his name, address and passport details. However, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said that the information is "not factual". The list of UN-designated terrorists was issued by Pakistan, and stated that they will be subjected to "assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo", in an attempt to show the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) that Pakistan is taking steps to fight terrorism.
