Day 2 Of 5G Auction To Be Held On July 27; Day 1 Closed With Over ₹ 1.45 Lakh Cr Bids

The largest spectrum auction in India for 5G airwaves valued at Rs 4.3 lakh crore will take place on July 27. On day 1 of the auction, which ended on July 26, four rounds were completed, with bids for 5G airwaves surpassing Rs 1.45 lakh crore. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw predicted the auction will likely be finished by July 27 and intends to conclude spectrum allocation by August 15.
