DCGA Urges To Deboard Passengers If COVID-19 Protocols Violated
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on March 13 ordered to de-board passengers if they fail to adhere to COVID-19 protocols. In its fresh guidelines, DGCA mandated passengers to wear masks while observing social distancing, checked by CISF. Moreover, it has provisioned to treat prohibitory passengers as 'Unruly Passenger' under Civil Aviation Requirements, if they violate norms. The DGCA order came amid India recorded 24,882 cases, the highest since December 19.
