Delhi: Govt Hospital Asks Nurses Not To Talk In Malayalam, Faces Ire
A Delhi government hospital has drawn criticism after issuing a circular instructing nurses to not to talk in Malayalam. The Govind Ballabh Pant hospital's circular stated all communication at the workplace should be done in Hindi or English to avoid "serious action". While the hospital authorities cited that maximum people there did not know Malayalam, nurses' union has objected to the inclusion of the language's name in the circular.
