Delhi Govt Orders To Switch Govt Vehicles To Electric Within 6 Months

Delhi Government on February 25 passed an order stating all state-owned vehicles to be switched to electric within six months. The move is seen as the execution of the government’s order to make Delhi “EV capital of India.” Moreover, the government has allowed every department and autonomous body to acquire EVs without waiting for permission. However, departments will have to submit a monthly status report to the transport department.
