Delhi Govt Releases First Aid To 1,416 COVID-19 Victims Families

Delhi government has announced that they've started paying compensation to those who lost their family members to COVID-19 under 'Parivaar Aarthik Sahayata Yojana'. Reportedly, the govt has received 10,000 applications, and 1,416 families out of 2,451 eligible families have received a one-time payment that is Rs 50,000. However, other 1,257 eligible families have requested monthly aid. While the officials are also examining to approve more eligible beneficiaries.
