Delhi HC Issues Directions To Police On Strict Ban Of Synthetic Manjha Used In Flying Kites

The Delhi High Court has issued directions to Delhi police and other authorities to strictly implement the prohibition of use of any kind of synthetic manjha. Chinese samjha/ synthetic manjha, a material used in flying kites, has been banned following the National Green Tribunal's (NGT) judgement. Furthermore, a PIL was filed to ban flying kites as a whole. However, the court refused to pass directions in favour of it.
