Delhi HC Sends Notice To Centre For Guidance On Anti-Rabies Vaccination, Animal Birth Control

Delhi High Court released notice to Centre and its agencies on July 28 seeking instruction for anti-rabies vaccination, birth control of animals, and monitoring of animal health and public safety. HC requested response from Ministry of Home Affairs, Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI), and other agencies while scheduling detailed hearing on November 9, 2022. Sangeeta Dogra, wildlife activist, filed the case, alleging AWBI intentionally neglected to investigate dog population.
