Delhi High Court Order: 54 National Sports Federations lose recognition

The Sports ministry following orders from the High Court of Delhi, withdrew the annual recognition of 54 National Sports Federations (NSF), on June 26. The decision was passed after citing the governance issues within the federations. Though the annual recognition is granted in January every year, the process took longer than usual as the ministry sought some details from the federations.
