Delhi High Court Orders JNU To Provide 5% Admission Quota To Disabled Students
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been ordered by the Delhi High Court on November 6 to include at least five percent differently-abled students in the total number of admitted candidates. JNU's counsel Monika Arora ensured that the university has met the expectations. However, JNU had recently announced that the university could not meet the quota-related requirement mandated under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act.
