Delhi Issues Fresh COVID Curbs, Bans All Public Gatherings
Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government on April 10 announced fresh restrictions to tackle the COVID-19 surge. Instructing government offices, restaurants, bars, cinemas and public transport to function at 50% occupancy, the order banned all recreational activities statewide. It also allowed only 50 and 20 people to attend marriages and funerals respectively. Besides, Maharashtra-Delhi flyers will have to produce COVID-19 negative reports. Meanwhile, 10PM-to-5AM night curfew will remain enforced.
