Delhi: Municipality Intends To Build Massive Plastic Waste Processing Centre

As reported by NDMC Commissioner Sanjay Goel, the municipal corporation is planning to build a 50-ton-per-day plastic waste processing facility in Tikri Kalan in compliance with Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 and Central Pollution Control Board. They are also appointing Trash Management Agencies to segregate, collect, and transport plastic waste for recycling and processing. According to Goel, North DMC generates and collects about 4500 MT of Municipal-Solid-Waste.
