Delhi Police Arrest Seven People For Possessing 600 Kg Of Illegal Firecrackers

Following a blanket ban on sale of firecrackers by the Delhi government, seven individuals were booked for possessing illegal crackers. Reportedly, the Delhi Police have confiscated about 600 kg of illegal firecrackers from the accused. Besides this, the police have also lodged eight cases pertaining to bursting of firecrackers. The police said that the licenses issued for the sale of firecrackers have already been suspended by the government.
