Delhi Police Granted Extension In Probe Period Against Militant

The Delhi Police have been granted additional two months to carry out investigation against Al-Qaeda militant Sabeel Ahmed. The terrorist was arrested by the special cell of Delhi Police for providing the Al-Qaeda with logistics and financial support. However, the police expressed its inability to file the charge sheet against Ahmed  before the May 22 deadline, thereby requesting the extension. The investigation time has now been extended till July 22.
