Delhi To Turn Commonwealth Games Village, Schools Into COVID Centres
Delhi government on April 17 announced to turn the Commonwealth games village and some schools into COVID Care Centres. Reportedly, the makeshift arrangement will facilitate 6,000 beds with oxygen facilities. With increasing number of cases, Delhi is facing a crisis to facilitate COVID-19 patients as about 24,000 cases were registered on April 17. Moreover, CM Kejriwal urged the Centre to provide at least 7,000 beds for COVID-19 in the capital.
