Delhi Witnesses Waterlogging, Power Cut; Highest Rainfall In Last 46 Years
Indira Gandhi International Airport's (IGIA) forecourt is flooded with water after heavy rainfall hits Delhi-NCR on Sept 11. Following the incident, the Airport authorities requested an immediate solution through a tweet. The city recorded 1,100mm of rainfall, the highest in the last 46 years leading to waterlogging, power cuts, diversion & cancellation of flights. However, IMD had issued an orange alert in the city on September 10 & 11.
