Delhi: Yamuna Water Level Likely to Subside, Rescue Operations On

An official of the irrigation and flood control department stated that, the Yamuna river which continued to flow close to the warning mark in Delhi, is likely to recede. Due to incessant rainfall in Delhi and neighboring areas, the water level raised from 204.23 meters at 10 am to 204.41 meters at 5 pm on August 28. Over 24 boats have been deployed with two divers in order to monitor the situation.
