Delta Variant Doesn't Cause Severe Disease In Adolescents: CDC US
A new study has found that Delta variation doesn't cause more severe illness, even though pediatric hospitalizations in the United States have risen dramatically since the variant became prevalent. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also showed that unvaccinated adolescents were 10 times more likely to be hospitalized than those who were vaccinated. Besides, children aged 12-17 and 0-4 had a greater risk than those aged 5-11.
