Derek Chauvin, the officer behind George FloydÔÇÖs death, charged with third degree murder

The former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, seen on video using his knee to pin down George Floyd has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on May 29. The Hennepin County Attorney, Mike Freeman, said that Chauvin had been arrested and that the investigation was ongoing regarding the other 3 officers who were present at the scene.
