Distorted Women's Posters Surface In Kabul: Afghanistan

Pictures showcasing distorted posters of women in Kabul's beauty salons using spray paints has surfaced amongst the ongoing women's protests in Afghanistan. The Taliban had promised to honour women's rights on August 17, but under the Sharia Law. Nevertheless, Suhail Shaheen, Taliban spokesperson, had stated that women will have education rights uptill university degrees. However, Afghan journalist Shabnam Khan Dawran stated that she was not allowed to work.
