DPDA Demands VAT Reduction On Petrol And Diesel From Delhi Govt
The Delhi Petroleum Dealers Association (DPDA) has given a written demand for the immediate reduction of valued added tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel to the AAP government in Delhi. “The increase in VAT has resulted in price difference of more than Rs 8 per litre in diesel compared to neighbouring states, which is resulting in heavy loss of sales as more than 200 petrol pumps have become unviable,” said DPDA president Anil Bijlani.
