Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis Assures Fast Track Re Development Of Dharavi

Aiming to fast-track Dharavi development work, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and CM Eknath Shinde will hold a meeting with the Union Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. During the meeting, scheduled on August 30, the ministers will ask for handing over of railway land in Dharavi for re-development work. For this, the Maharashtra Government had paid Rs 800 crore to the Indian Railways, whereas discussion over profit-sharing and agreement is pending.
