Early Voting Trends In US Presidential Elections; Over 70 Million Votes Recorded
The United States has recorded over 70 million votes in the early voting for the Presidential Elections 2020. The huge turnout is equal to 50% of total votes in the 2016 elections. Experts opine that the 'Black Lives Matter' protests and the management of COVID-19 could be the driving forces for the high turnout. Officials also estimate a 65% total turnout this year, with over 150 million people casting their vote, highest since 1908.
