EC Directs To File Case On Illegal Cash Transactions In 2019 Polls

Madhya Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer has been directed by the Election Commission to file a criminal case against four government officers for illegal cash transactions during the 2019 polls. Moreover, the EC has directed the order to the Union Home Secretary to ensure appropriate measures are taken against the perpetrators. Commenting on the issue, MP Minister Vishwas Sarang alleged the amount for needy had been diverted to Congress leaders' pockets.
