EC Directs Rivals Uddhav Thackeray, Eknath Shinde To Prove Majority For Shiv Sena Claims

The ECI asked the two Shiv Sena troops, one led by Eknath Shinde and the other by Uddhav Thackeray, to prove the majority and stake claims of the Shiv-Sena. In regard to this, the EC sent a letter, directing both rivals to submit documentary evidence of majority members in the late Bal Thackeray's Shiv-Sena. The EC sought replies from both the camps by August 8, following which claims be given.
