ECI To Take Action Against Registered Unrecognized Party Under RP Act: TN

The Election Commission of India will take action against registered unrecognized political parties in Tamil Nadu, for non-compliance with statutory requirements. The ECI issued a notice dated May 25, and ordered to meet the necessary requirements under the Representation of the People (RP) Act.  The parties mentioned in the notification list can approach the Electoral Official within 30 days of the order for full facts and remedial action.
