EcoEx and TRST01 joined forces to develop world's first decentralized, blockchain-based, credible plastic credit system. Plastic credits are quantifiable, verifiable, and transferable units that indicate a specified amount of plastic recovered from the environment or recycled. A plastic Credit Certificate is a collection of documentation (proof of project execution) that authenticates PIBO's (Producers, Importers, Brand Owners) compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility policy of Plastic-Waste-Management-Rules 2016, India (amended 2018, 2021).
