ED Arrests Sanjay Raut In Land Scam Case, Shiv Sena Protest

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sanjay Raut, the MP of Shiv Sena in connection with a money laundering case, on July 31. Notably, ED has launched an investigation into the Pathra Chawl matter and irregularities and land scam against Raut. Meanwhile, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena action protested against the arrest and said, ED is scared of Sanjay Raut. Furthermore, during a house raid, ED seized Rs 11.50 lakh in cash.
