Eight militants killed in two separate security operations in Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces launched two separate operations on June 18 and killed 8 militants, among them five killed in Shopian and other three killed in Awantipora. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said in a tweet, ÔÇ£Patience and professionalism worked. No use of firing and IED. Used tear smoke shells only. Maintained sanctity of the mosque. Both terrorists hiding inside mosque neutralised."
