Electric Toothbrushes Better Than Manual Ones, Says Dentist
Electric toothbrushes are more effective in removing plaque and prevention against cavities and gingivitis, suggested American Dental Association’s periodontist Sally Cram. Although manual toothbrushes cost less, Sally endorsed electric ones as the former lag in cleaning hard-to-reach spots unless it is small sized. Moreover, oscillating and vibrating head with softer bristles in electric ones make it better for children and senior citizens. However, Sally advised to undergo dentist's consultation before selecting any kind of toothbrush.
