Engineering Courses From IITs, NITs In Mother Tongue From 2021

The Education Ministry on November 26 announced that the IITs and the NITs would offer engineering courses in mother tongue. The decision, taken at a high-level review meeting, will come into effect from the next academic session. "A few IITs and NITs are being shortlisted for the same," a senior official said. Nine regional languages have already been proposed for JEE (Main) examination. However, for JEE (Advance), the decision is pending.
