'Ensure Adequate Testing, Increase Vaccination To Contain Surge,' Says, Centre Amid Rise In Covid Cases

Centre instructed states to ensure ample testing, encourage Covid-appropriate behavior, and speed-up vaccination in order to manage the Covid cases rise in India. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan sent a letter to Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana about the rise in COVID cases. He also stated that forthcoming festivals and mass gatherings in various regions of the nation may potentially encourage the spread of infectious illnesses.
