Even Parents Can't Object To Inter-Caste Adult Marriage: Allahabad HC

While allowing police protection to an inter-faith couple, the Allahabad High Court on September 16 said nobody, even parents, can't raise any objection to the marriage of two adults based on religion or else. The court's direction came after a 19-year-old Muslim woman and her 24-year-old Hindu partner from UP's Gorakhpur urged it to provide the protection.
