Ex-BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta Receives Bail From Bombay High Court

Former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta, an accused of manipulating TRP of various news channels has been granted bail by the Bombay HC. Reportedly, he is accused of receiving US $12,000 and Rs 40 Lakhs from Republic's Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami. Moreover, Special Public Prosecutor Shishir Hailey named several BARC officials in connection with the case, and reiterated the WhatsApp chats of having information about Pulwama. However, Advocate Aabad Ponda dismissed such allegations by stating it 'loose talk'.
