Facebook Intends To Rebrand Itself With New Name: Report

According to a report published on October 19, Facebook plans to rebrand itself with a new name next week. Mark Zuckerberg intends to discuss the rebranding on October 28 at the company's annual Connect conference, although it might be announced sooner. The rebranding will likely portray Facebook's social networking app as one of many products under a parent corporation that will also supervise groups like Instagram, WhatsApp, and others.
