Facebook's Political Advertising Policy Handler Rob Leathern Resigns
Facebook's chief of advertising integrity Rob Leathern has officially resigned from the company on December 30. Leathern was responsible for managing the company's ad products around controversial subjects like political advertising policies and coronavirus misinformation. He said that he was leaving Facebook to work on consumer privacy beyond ads and social media. While his future endeavours are undisclosed, Leather was earlier in news when Facebook was criticized for pushing misleading claims.
