Farmers wanted their dues, not charity: Punjab CM on Centre's MSP hike

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on June 1 said that the MSP hike on crops announced by the central government is "totally inadequate", adding that farmers wanted their dues, "not charity". "The debt-ridden, stressed farming community was looking to the Centre to come to their rescue...but the much-needed support once again eluded them," said the CM.
