Fear of Not Being with a Mobile Phone Disrupts Sleep

Nomophobia - The fear of being without a mobile phone is very prevalent among the youth and it is linked to poor sleep-quality, states a new report. A study on university students with a mean age of 20 years shows 89% of students had moderate or severe nomophobia. The research's lead author, Jennifer Peszka, recommends limiting phone use before and during bedtime for improved sleep-habits.
