FIR Against 8 Twitter Handles Over Fake News In Unnao Dalit Girls Death Case

In connection with the Unnao Dalit girls' death case, the UP Police has filed an FIR against eight Twitter handles accused of spreading "fake" stories claiming suspected poisoning as cause. However, multimedia website Mojo Story, one of the accused handles, has termed the FIR “blatant case of harassment". Earlier, on February 17, the three girls were found in unconscious state in Unnao’s Babuhara village; later, two of them died.
