FIR Registered After Confrontation Broke Out Over Hijab Row: Mangaluru

Karnataka's Mangaluru police registered three FIRs against students, on March 9. As per ANI, a student complaint regarding the confrontation between two groups over wearing hijab during examination. S Shashikumar, the Mangaluru police commissioner said, after few students were allowed to wear hijab and appear internal examinations, a confrontation broke out. The matter came amid the ongoing Karnataka Hijab Row issue, which is pending with the HC for verdict.
