First Batch Of 146 Pilgrims From J&K Leaves For Saudi Hajj 22
The Annual Saudi Arabia Hajj pilgrimage started from June 5, after being suspended for two-years amid Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022, the first batch of 145 pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir left for the hajj. FromJthe union territory, 6,000 pilgrims have been selected for this year's Hajj. "All arrangements have been put in place," said executive officer of the J&K Hajj Committee Abdul Salam Mir. Furthermore, pilgrims tested Covid-19 negative.
