First Dabbawala Dies Of COVID-19 In Mumbai

Santosh Jadhav, one of Mumbai's dabbawalas, was the first in the industry to succumb to COVID-19 on June 24. He was a resident of Malad, and lived with his wife and a five-year-old son. Jadhav's wife has been quarantined. The Mumbai Dabbawala Association president Subhash Talekar said, Jadhav's death led them to reconsider their decision of resuming the food delivery services.
