Flash Floods Ravage Poonch In J&K, Takes 1 Life, Damages Property Worth Millions Of Rupees

Flash flood struck Jammu & Kashmir's Poonch area, washing away one person, and property worth millions of rupees were damaged on August 1. Two persons were trapped behind earth-moving machinery, where one was saved, the other was swept away. "Dozens of vehicles including cars, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers were damaged in addition to many residential houses in this incident," authorities stated, adding that "precise details of the damage are being established."
