Flipkart Floats Voice Search Option To Support Hindi, English, Hinglish
Flipkart on March 4 floated a new voice search feature on its platform, enabling customers to search products in Hindi, English, and Hinglish languages. The new feature aims to "make the digital commerce experience convenient, accessible and seamless". A joint study by Flipkart and Bain & Company has revealed that online shoppers in tier-2 cities count nearly half of the total shoppers. Notably, over 75% internet users in India come from non-English speaking background.
