Floods Hit 27 Regions of China, 141 Missing

Several Chinese regions have been hit by severe floods due to weeks of torrential rains, affecting nearly 38 million people. According to official statistics, 141 people are either dead or missing, and 2.25 million people have been evacuated. The country's flood response level has been raised from level III to level II, the second-highest level. President Xi Jinping has requested citizens to take necessary precautions.
