FMCGs Tapping COVID-19 Scope By Launching New Oral Care Products
Capitalising the pandemic spread, the Indian FMCG companies have diversified their oral care product line by introducing mouthwashes, ayurvedic mouth cleansers and mouth sprays. Brands like Colgate and Dabur tapped the traditional and ayurvedic method by launching pulling oil - an oral concoction of mouth cleansing. Through Pepsodent, the Hindustan Unilever has announced to launch mouthwash that claims to remove 99.9% of COVID causing SARS-CoV-2 virus after 30 seconds of rinsing.
