Former Maharashtra Minister Shankar Rao Kolhe Dies At 93
Shankar Rao Kolhe (93), former agriculture, co-operative, revenue and transport minister (1989-1993), passed away due to age-related issue in Nashik, Maharashtra. Besides Maharashtra Cabinet, he also served as key member in various government committees and also founded Sanjivini Group, a sugar factory. Kolhe was felicitated by PM Modi in 2017 for his contribution towards cooperative sectors. Furthermore, he is survived by his wife and sons.
